An 1871 Seated Liberty Silver Dollar is a highly desirable, historic coin designed by Christian Gobrecht. While the Seated Liberty series as a whole is far scarcer than later Morgan or Peace dollars, the true rarity and value of an 1871 issue depend completely on its mint mark and condition.
