Vintage American Beauty hand-painted teacup and saucer set made in Occupied Japan for G.Z.L. U.S.A. Featuring a rich emerald green glaze accented with a brilliant gold-washed interior, raised peach and blossom motif, scalloped edges, and ornate gold-trimmed handle. The combination of dimensional fruit decoration, hand-painted details, and Occupied Japan backstamp makes this an attractive addition to teacup collections, Victorian-inspired displays, and post-war Japanese porcelain collections. Marked "American Beauty Hand Painted Exclusively Made in Occupied Japan G.Z.L. U.S.A." on the saucer and "Made in Occupied Japan" inside the cup. Very good shape overall with minimal signs of wear. See photos for condition and measurements.
