Pair of vintage Frederick Cooper decorative bird sculptures featuring a crane and heron design crafted with rich mahogany-tone carved wood bodies, brass-tone legs and feet, and mounted on matching round wooden bases. Original Frederick Cooper Chicago labels remain attached to the undersides, adding desirable provenance for collectors of mid-century and Hollywood Regency décor. The contrasting bird poses create an elegant display, making this set ideal for shelves, consoles, offices, libraries, or nature-inspired interiors. One bird has visible damage and repairs to the beak and neck area, along with additional finish wear and scuffs to the bases as shown in the photos. The second bird displays typical age-related wear. Very good shape overall with normal signs of wear considering the age. See photos for condition and measurements.
