Ken Martin (1922-2001) Lemont, IL Single reed smooth barrel Horseshoe Lake Model goose call with box and original instructions. Marked "KEN MARTIN / LEMONT.ILL" on barrel. Ken Martin grew up in Canada before moving to southern Illinois where he first began whittling calls. He started making calls full time around the 60's when he began stamping his name and current residence on his calls. The Lemont, Illinois mark indicates that this model was one of earlier stamped calls before he moved to Salmon and then Idaho Falls, Idaho.
