Tom Turpin (1871-1957) Memphis, TN 6.5" long There are 3 crisp flying ducks stamped into the barrel. The insert and wedge block have matching '&' symbols stamped. Original copper reed. Despite the little information that is known about the early life of Tom Turpin, he became a quite renowned Tennessee call maker. Beginning in the early 1900s, he modeled his early designs after Victor Glodo's over-boring inside duck call barrels. Turpin's call making extended to turkey, crow, and squirrel calls. Condition: Very good and original, chip out of exhaust of barrel
