Alex Picone (1942-2025) Kansas City, MO 5.5" long Single reed, spalted pecan with African blackwood - Signed "Alex Picone Sunshine Lake" on insert Although Picone was an avid hunter all his life, it wasn't until his retirement years that he began turning calls. Having acquired a collection of gifted calls from his friend and hunting companion, Sam Armato, around the same time drove his interest further. Picone never sold his calls. He carved because he enjoyed the process, the unique woods, and the heritage it connected him to. MO 52 Condition: Excellent and original Provenance: Picone Family Collection
