Handcrafted vintage Zuni sterling silver Chief brooch/pendant by renowned Zuni artist Lavonne Lalio, featuring intricate channel inlay of turquoise, coral, mother-of-pearl, and jet (onyx). Lalio's work is highly regarded for its precise stone-to-stone inlay and traditional Zuni imagery, making her pieces sought after by collectors of Native American jewelry. This striking Chief design measures approximately 2" tall and weighs 7 grams. It is designed to be worn as either a brooch or pendant, offering versatile display and wear options. The piece appears that it may be missing one small inlay stone to the right of the Chief's face, as shown in the photos. Otherwise, it remains a beautiful example of vintage Zuni craftsmanship. Please see photos for details, signature, and overall condition.
