Exceptional Navajo sterling silver Storyteller concho belt featuring beautifully crafted high-relief storyteller conchos, each individually marked Sterling. The belt measures approximately 44" in total length and is fully adjustable, making it suitable for a variety of waist sizes. Weighing an impressive 285 grams, this substantial piece displays outstanding silversmithing and traditional Southwestern artistry. The design is highly characteristic of the renowned Becenti family of Navajo silversmiths, whose storyteller jewelry is celebrated for its intricate scenes depicting Native American life, ceremonies, and family traditions. While this belt is not hallmarked with an artist's signature, the craftsmanship, relief work, and overall style strongly reflect the influence of the Becenti tradition. Because it is not signed, the belt is offered as attributed in style only and cannot be definitively assigned to a specific artist. A remarkable statement piece and an outstanding addition to any collection of Navajo, Southwestern, or Native American sterling silver jewelry. Please see photos for details, measurements, and overall condition.
