Offered is a 1976-S U.S. Bicentennial Silver Proof Set, featuring three special 1776–1976 commemorative coins struck in 40% silver at the San Francisco Mint. The set includes a Washington Quarter, Kennedy Half Dollar, and Eisenhower Dollar. Please review the photos for the exact condition and original packaging included. The U.S. Mint created the special Bicentennial coin designs to celebrate America's 200th anniversary in 1976. The quarter features a colonial drummer, the half dollar depicts Independence Hall, and the Eisenhower Dollar features the Liberty Bell superimposed over the Moon. The three coins were issued together as a special 40% silver Proof set for collectors. Each coin bears the "S" mint mark of the San Francisco Mint and carries the dual date 1776–1976. The complete set contains approximately 0.5162 troy ounces of silver.
