Pair of tall, narrow early 20th-century oak display cabinets or vitrines, each designed with a single glazed door above carved lower panels and raised on four tapered, fluted feet. The richly ornamented façades feature stylized floral, fruit, and foliate carvings arranged across the crest, around the beveled glass openings, and within the lower door panels, reflecting the naturalistic decorative vocabulary associated with Art Nouveau and related Continental design of the period. Geometric metal escutcheons provide a contrasting period accent one is not attched but is included. Condition is consistent with age and use, including scattered scuffs, scratches, finish wear, surface abrasions, one front leg has damage and loss to wood. Glass appears intact in the photographs. Measure 74"H x 19.5"W x 19"D each.
