Made of heavy-gauge steel and with a 700LBS total weight capacity, it can withstand weights for years to come. This rack is tailored for medium to large dumbbells. The spacing of each slot is 4.6", but considering the space between slots, we suggest comfortably racking at most 45lb, 50lb, 55lb, 60lb and 65lb rubber hex dumbbells on both sides. Neoprene/vinyl dumbbells are not suitable for it. Maximum comfort: Having proper spacing between slots is important when it comes to comfort and convenience.
