A matched pair of stud earrings featuring spherical cognac-colored amber cabochons. The amber exhibits characteristic internal sun spangle inclusions, which are circular stress fractures typically resulting from heat treatment to enhance clarity and color. The cabochons are held in sterling silver cup settings attached to straight posts. The earrings are secured with butterfly friction backs. The backs are stamped with the hallmark 925, indicating sterling silver, and a faint, illegible mark is present on the posts.
