Late 19th/early 20th century Morris recliner, oak, having a rectangular back with horizontal splats leading down to a floral upholstered seat, both concealed with later removable cushions, the seat flanked with shaped arms with brackets attached to the reverse holding a bracket that can be adjusted allowing the backrest to recline, an intricately carved scroll shirt, with front shaped feet and raking back. With expected signs of age including some sunfading to stained finish, light scratches and impressions, some light areas of rust along the iron brackets and bar. Measures upright 41" h. x 31 1/2" w. x 31 3/4" d.
