A Swiss-made quartz carriage-style mantel clock manufactured by Bucherer featuring an Imhof movement. The case is constructed of gilt brass with contrasting brushed and polished finishes. A rectangular golden face plate surrounds acircular silvered chapter ring displaying black Roman numeral hour indices. The clock is equipped with decorative openwork golden hands. The dial is inscribed with Bucherer in script above the center and Quartz within a boxed frame below.The chapter ring is marked Swiss and Imhof near the VI position. The movement casing on the back is marked Swiss and numbered 0713013. The base plate is stamped 110 725 and Swiss. 4 x 3.75 x 2.5 inches.This clock presents in good overall condition with some expected minor surface wear and light spotting. Slight oxidation is visible on the handle and disc-shaped feet. The movement is untested and the battery is provided separately.
