This appears to be a Pickard China gold-encrusted porcelain serving bowl—Pickard is spelled with a "k." It likely has an etched floral design and 24-karat gold decoration. Estimated value: * Auction value: $20–$40 * Retail/resale value: $45–$75 * Potentially more if it has an early Pickard mark and no gold loss, cracks, or chips. A clear photograph of the mark on the bottom would confirm its age and exact pattern. Pickard’s discontinued china reference?? shows comparable gold-encrusted pieces.
