This lot comprises two vintage hand-crafted clown figurines including a larger molded composition figure and a smaller mixed-media Pierrot-style figure. The larger clown is depicted seated in a polka-dot suit with textured yellow hair and bears an incised mark to the underside of the leg. The smaller figure features a papier-mache head with a lace ruff collar and holds a rectangular box while wearing a multi-colored mottled suit. Both pieces exhibit polychrome hand-painted surfaces with various textures and finishes.Large figurine: 4.5 inches heightSmall figurine: 3 inches height.
