This navette-shaped Art Deco locket is crafted from hand-hammered sterling silver and features an applied shield-shaped caduceus medical crest and a chain tassel. The 8.1-gram pendant is suspended from a 34-inch black braided fabric cord and opens to reveal a vintage black-and-white photograph of a child. The silver displays a natural aged patina and tarnish, particularly in recessed areas; the hinge and closure remain functional. The braided cord shows minor surface wear and fraying near the metal findings.
