This mid-20th-century Retro-period brooch is fashioned as a three-dimensional bow with engraved foliate motifs and a central colorless faceted stone. It is constructed of sterling silver with a gold wash finish and weighs 8.1 grams, measuring approximately 1.75 by 2 inches. The brooch is in good vintage condition with visible tarnish and moderate wear to the gold finish revealing the silver base metal. The central stone is secure, and the pin mechanism with rolling safety clasp is fully functional.
