This oval brooch features a hand-painted porcelain plaque depicting a courting couple in an outdoor rococo-style landscape. The plaque is secured within a gold-tone metal frame decorated with a double-row beaded border and a serrated bezel. The reverse is fitted with a silver-tone pin and a revolving safety catch.Height: 1.75 inchesWidth: 1.5 inches.The porcelain plaque is in good condition without visible chips or cracks. There is moderate tarnishing and loss of gold-tone plating to the metal frame. The pin mechanism is functional.
