That’s a vintage Annie Model A-4 Type 2 Capacitor Analyzer, made in Chicago, USA. It’s an electronic test instrument used to measure the capacitance of capacitors, typically in microfarads (µF or MFD). These were popular among radio and TV repair technicians from the mid-20th century. • Analog meter labeled “CAPACITY MFD” with ranges from 0–60 and 0–600 µF. • Range toggle switch to select between high and low capacitance scales. • “CAPACITY PRESS” button to initiate measurement. • “SHORT TEST” indicator to check for internal shorts in capacitors.
