EMPEROR GUANGXU OF THE QING DYNASTY. <br>H:3.7cm W:18.5cm Official yellow glaze plate of Guangxu reign, Qing Dynasty, wide flared mouth and shallow belly with neat ring foot. The whole interior is fully covered with tender imperial yellow glaze, even mild pure lemon yellow tone with glossy fine surface. The base is white glazed, with incised dragon cloud patterns along outer rim, inscribed with two vertical lines of regular cobalt script "Made in Guangxu Reign of Great Qing". Yellow glaze was exclusive imperial porcelain color in Ming and Qing dynasties, symbolizing supreme royal power, restricted only for palace nobility use under strict ritual hierarchy.
