SIMPLICITY, SILK SCROLL OF A GATHERING OF FIGURES. <br>L:300cm (118.11in) W:27cm (10.63in)This fine-line heavy-color figure long scroll on ancient silk is equipped with original green silk brocade mounting and woven cord tie. The frontispiece bears imperial running script title Return to Pure Simplicity together with Qing palace collection seals. The painting depicts segmented scenes of literati burning incense, court ladies and servants enjoying leisurely gatherings, rendered with neat brushwork and elegant aged pigments. Poetic colophons for appreciation were written by Lu Shidao, Xiang Yuanbian, Wang Youdun and other ancient literati at the end, with complete clear provenance, a fine antique painting of recluses and ladies<br>ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS.<br><br> Additional photographs and condition reports may be provided upon request as a courtesy only.
