Complete Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #1–12 set (all newsstand variants!), the landmark 1984–85 original 12-issue maxiseries by Jim Shooter with art by Mike Zeck and Bob Layton. This foundational Marvel event brings the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Hulk, Doctor Doom, Galactus, Ultron, Magneto, and many other major heroes and villains to the Beyonder’s Battleworld. Key issues include #1 (the first appearance of the Beyonder and the beginning of the original Secret Wars event, Fine/Fine+), #3 (first appearances of powerhouse villains Titania and Volcana, Fine+/VF-), #7 (first appearance of Julia Carpenter as the second Spider-Woman, VF-) #8, (the classic issue in which Spider-Man acquires the black costume that ultimately becomes Venom’s symbiote, NM-) #10 (featuring Doctor Doom’s climactic takeover of the Beyonder’s power, VF) and #12 (Doom battles the Beyonder and the heroes returning from Battleworld, NM-). he rest appear to be in the VF to Fine range as pictured.
