Marvel New Mutants (1983 series) comic book group featuring issues #1–48 as well as Annuals #1-2 and Special #1, including several early key issues from Chris Claremont’s acclaimed X-Men spinoff. Highlights include Annual #2 (1st appearance and origin of Betsy Braddock in U.S. comics AKA Psylocke, VF) #1, the first issue of the regular ongoing New Mutants series (VG), #8, first appearance of Magma/Amara Aquilla (VG), #16, featuring the first appearance of James Proudstar, later known as Warpath (VG) #18, first full Demon Bear appearance and the first cameo appearance of Warlock (Fine/Fine+) #21 (Warlock's 1st full appearance, Fine+/VF-),#25 is the first cameo appearance of Legion/David Haller, Professor X’s son, Fine) and #26, Legion’s first full appearance and the start of his major storyline (VG-). The rest of the comics appear overall VF/NM to VG. Most appear Fine or better. Some single issues may be better or lesser grades.
