No moisture means no mold growth under your finished floors. DMX 1-STEP 2.0 is VOC free, which means that it does not off-gas harmful fumes into your living space. There is no need for OSB or Plywood. Laminate, engineered hardwood and luxury vinyl plank flooring ( 5mm) can be installed directly on top of DMX 1-STEP 2.0. The uniquely designed dimples create an air gap for moisture evaporation, and increase your floor temperature by 12 F. Designed for (click) luxury vinyl plank flooring ( 5mm), laminate and engineered hardwood. Warm Floors - Dimples are encapsulated in a closed cell foam which keeps your floors warm and comfortable, up to 12 F warmer. Quiet Floors - Ideal for condos: IIC 72, STC 62 and Delta IIC 26. Waterproof - 100% waterproof, providing a complete vapor barrier. VOC Free - Creates a Healthy Environment - DMX 1-STEP 2.0 is 100% completely VOC Free (CDPH Standard Method V1.2). Ease of Installation - No carpentry tools required, just scissors or a utility knife are needed. The ONLY dimpled underlayment that is NALFA certified (North American Laminate Flooring Association). Compressive Strength - With a compressive strength of more than 12,000 lbs/sq.ft., DMX 1-STEP 2.0 is the ideal choice as a subfloor on your concrete floor for even weight distribution.
