Juan Marichal, nicknamed the "Dominican Dandy," is a legendary former Major League Baseball (MLB) right-handed pitcher. Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983, he was the first Dominican-born player to receive the honor. Over a 16-season career spanning 1960 to 1975—spent mostly with the San Francisco Giants—he cemented his legacy as one of the most dominant and durable pitchers of his era.
