3.6' x 5.6' Turkish Tulu rugs—derived from the Turkish word "tüylü," meaning hairy—are celebrated for their iconic long, shaggy wool piles and historical roots as cozy bedding blankets crafted by nomadic weavers in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey. Traditionally hand-knotted around Konya and Karapinar, these textiles feature a coarse, open weave that yields unparalleled plushness and thermal insulation underfoot. Their minimalist, primitive, or vibrant geometric aesthetics mirror similar global folk traditions like Moroccan Beni Ourain or Iranian Gabbeh rugs. All rugs are preowned and may need cleaning. We do not combine shipping on rugs.
