World War II 1940s handmade copper and sterling silver plate. Signed in the center of the front of the plate. In the center front of this plate, it reads “Cairo 1944” in Arabic lettering. The plate was made on or about October 23, 1944. Under the date is the signature of the artist. See photos. This is a very heavy plate. It is very pretty. There is a youngling reindeer at the bottom of the front of the plate. Many different Vine leaves throughout the plate on the front. A flower button or medallion is towards the top of the plate in the front. It has a lot of detail. The back of the plate is solid copper color and has a handwritten label on the back. It states where this plate originated from and The date. Please see photos.
