A 1960-D Roosevelt Dime with Full Bands (FB) is one of the premium business-strike varieties for this date. The FB designation means the horizontal bands on the torch are fully separated and sharply struck — a rarity for 1960-D Denver dies, which often show softness in the lower bands. Composition: 90% silver, 10% copper Mintage: 200,160,400 (Denver) — common overall, but FB strikes are not FB Requirement: Both upper and lower torch bands must show full, uninterrupted separation with no metal flow or marks obscuring them.
