The 6 in. Round Spee-D Catch Basin Drain Kit comes with the Original Spee-D Catch Basin drain with one outlet and a 6 in. round grate. Simple to install, it captures and drains away light flows of excess stormwater from small lawns, landscaped areas, patios, and walkways, and helps prevent costly water damage to your property. Catch basin outlet connects to 3 in. and 4 in. single-wall corrugated, sewer and drain, triple-wall pipe, and 4 in. Sch. 40 pipe. Made of polystyrene, the basin provides easy access to its sump area, making it easy to clean. The drain grate, also known as a drain cover, blocks leaves and debris from entering the pipeline and clogging your system. The drain grate is made of polyethylene treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from the sun. Use the one-outlet catch basin alone or to start a series of connected basins. As part of a complete drainage system, the catch basin with grate captures excess water and directs it to drain pipes. The pipes carry the water to a discharge point downstream such as a pop-up emitter, or percolates into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench.
