Burmese lacquerware cylindrical lidded box featuring traditional incised Yun-the decoration in orange, green, and yellow on a black ground depicting figures in a pavilion. Underside of lid bears a Burmese script maker's mark. Condition: shows significant lacquer loss to the top and edges of the lid exposing the coiled core, general wear.
