Teddy is a 6 year old registered American Saddlebred buckskin and white gelding standing at about 15.2 hands. He has been around cattle, horses, and dogs with no issues. He loads and hauls in a trailer well. He is good for the farrier and picks up his feet well. He has been ridden outside in the brush, trails, and mountains of Idaho, Montana, and Washington multiple times and has been used as a pack horse in the mountains multiple times. He crosses water. Has been hobbled and does well. Does well on a long line in the backcountry. He leads well and is pretty easy to catch. There are no issues putting a saddle and bridal on him. He has never had any accidents or medical issues and is sound. He is up to date with deworming, tetnus shot, & vet check. His coggins test is negative. No brand is present. We also own his mother, who is a great horse who does well with kids and just about anything you want of her. He is not mean natured/tempered. He is green on training and gets fresh when you first get on to ride but has been ridden multiple times. He needs an experienced rider and is not a good horse for kids to ride at this time. He has great potential with the proper training and time put into him. I am selling him because I don't have the time or experience to train or ride him and want him to reach his full potential with someone who can give that to him.
