Condition: NEW FACTORY SEALED Brand: Pentek Model: 255521-43 ASIN: B00DH47UR2 CRISP, GREAT-TASTING DRINKING WATER - This is the last stage before the faucet. Water drawn from the storage tank passes through activated carbon on its way out, polishing away the flat taste and odor that can build up in stored reverse osmosis water. THE GENUINE STAGE 4 CARTRIDGE - Pentair specifies GS-10RO-B, part 255521-43, as the Stage 4 GAC post-filter in the GRO-2575 four-stage reverse osmosis drinking water system. Using the specified cartridge is what keeps the system performing as designe. PART OF AN NSF CERTIFIED SYSTEM - The GRO-2575, installed with its full Pentair cartridge set including this post-filter, is tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 58, with 96.5% average reduction of total dissolved solid. SIMPLE IN-LINE SWAP - Your existing 1/4" quick-connect fittings thread into its 1/4" NPT ports, tee to the inlet and elbow to the outlet, and a flow arrow on the body shows which way water travels. Fittings and mounting clips are not included. REPLACE EVERY 12 MONTHS - Pentair calls for changing the fourth-stage post-filter once a year. Change it sooner if taste or odor starts to return, and replace the pre-filters and membrane on their own schedule at the same time.
