Floral Gilt Ceramic Tableware Group

Four-piece tableware group comprising three floral-decorated scalloped or lobed plates or dishes and one large handled serving platter. The white glazed pieces feature painted floral decoration, gilt trim, and ornamental details. The underside of oneplain white scalloped dish is marked “Q.A.L. Co.,” “ROYAL AUSTRIA,” and “HAND PAINTED.” The photographs do not establish whether this marked dish corresponds to one of the four decorated pieces or whether the mark applies to the entire group. Visiblegilt decoration has rubbing, thinning, and uneven wear, especially along rims and ornamental details. The marked underside dish shows discoloration or residue around the foot ring and scattered small marks. Fine lines may be scratches, glaze crazing,or reflections. No definite major chip or break is established in the supplied views. The undersides and backs of the other three pieces are not shown.
