Brushless motor technology uses a microprocessor control in place of traditional carbon brushes to reduce friction and heat buildup. This brushless motor delivers up to 30 percent more power, up to one and a half times more runtime, and up to ten times longer motor life compared to a standard two-pole motor. This compact drill features a two-speed all-metal gearbox that allows for high-torque driving or high-speed drilling. It offers variable speeds from 0 to 500/0 to 1,850 RPM, 525 inch-pounds of torque, and 17 + 1 clutch settings. The variable-speed trigger switch allows for precision control.
