Engine - 396 V-8 Transmission - 5 Speed Manual Transmission 86,416 Miles VIN: 114271W1224003087 Note From Seller - 1971 Chevrolet Nova Yenko SC Tribute - Arizona Car, Fresh 396 Big Block, Ready to Drive. All original sheet metal ( except the hood) finished in menacing black with crisp white Yenko-style stripes and badging. Turn the Key and go! this one is Ready Exterior - A clean aggressive face starts with the horizontal ribbed grille ( no badging), Single headlights flanking each side, and a bright chrome bumper. White striping and the classic "sYc" triangle pay direct homage to the Yenko Super Cars built in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Matching white side stripes and black knockout Yenko badges on the rear quarters complete the look. Bright trim surrounds the glass and side mirrors. The body panels show solid gaps and only one small dent on the passenger side roof. Paint has a strong overall shine with minor bubbling on the hood topcoat and some issues just below the rear glass. Dual single horizontal taillights and another chrome bumper keep the rear simple and correct. Rolling on 15" Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in 235/60R15 tires at all four corners. Interior- New A/C system will keep you cool in the racy black vinyl high--back bucket seats. Original black vinyl door panels feature a wood-applique strip. Black carpet remains fade-free. A long shifter with white ball rises from the center hump. The dash is pure GM simplicity - speedometer and fuel gauge, column-mounted tach, original steering wheel, and temperature controls to the right. A Pioneer stereo sits in the original radio location with 3 after market gauges mounted below the dash. Tight black textured vinyl headliner finishes the cabin. Drive Train - Under the restored hood ( new insulation) sits a freshly rebuilt 396 ci Big-Block V8 with new cast-iron heads and Comp roller rockers, topped by a Holley 4-barrel. Power flows through a Tremec 5-speed manual to a 10-bolt rear. Dual high-output electric fans keep temperatures in check. A shiny like-new dual Borla exhaust system completes the package. Undercarriage - Fully restored with zero rust - clean coating and fresh black paint throughout. Front disc brakes and rear drums. Settled into the sYc buckets, the car fired instantly and drove well on the Yenko tune shop test track. Handling was solid and braking adequate, Note: horn and reverse lights are currently non-functional. A strong, well-presented tribute to the legendary Yenko SC Novas of the early70s - fresh engine, solid Arizona body, and ready for the next owner.
