Single United States 2-cent postage stamp depicting George Washington, consistent with the 1917 Washington–Franklin Issue. It has perforated edges, attached upper selvage, and a visible red marking reading “13994.†The accompanying card identifas Scott U.S. #499, but the supplied photographs do not definitively distinguish #499 from the related #500 variety. No cancellation is visible on the photographed face, but unused or mint-never-hinged status is not verified. The upper-right selvageappears irregular, with possible tear or crease, and surface discoloration is present. The reverse, gum, hinging, watermark, fluorescence, and complete lower edge cannot be evaluated. A white identification/display card and apparent protective sleeveare shown as supporting materials; inclusion should be confirmed.
