Beautiful old 10 cent slot machine made in 1940 by the Watling Manufacturing Company. Very good working condition. Floor cabinet models are very difficult to find and we could not find another example of this particular model. The cabinet does have some veneer missing in a few areas as shown in photos. Please note the light bulb socket was added at some point in it's life, perhaps for brighter lighting from the inside. The 3 original small sockets are not wired in but we did test them with bulbs and temporary wiring and they worked fine. Very easy to wire back in if so desired. As shown in video this machine does work. When dime is inserted and lever is pushed to left side the reel spins just like a normal slot machine. When lever is pushed it also starts a timer and turns the light on. After a few minutes the timer runs out and turns off the light. Also both of the locks were removed, one from the left side and one on the back door, could easily be replaced. We do not know if machine pays as shown on payout board as the machine only has a few dimes in tube. You will be hard pressed to find another example of this rare slot machine.
