1951-S San Francisco Copper Wheat Cent Slabbed 1951-S San Francisco Mint Copper Wheat Cent INB Slabbed This 1951-S Lincoln Wheat Cent is a classic copper coin struck at the San Francisco Mint. It comes professionally housed in a slabbed holder from the International Numismatic Bureau (INB), which features a green label design and a unique serial number for identification. The "S" mint mark is clearly visible on the obverse below the date, signifying its West Coast origin. This mid-century copper cent represents a significant piece of American numismatic history, preserved in a protective holder to maintain its condition and facilitate easy display within any collection. 1951-S San Francisco Mint Copper Wheat Cent INB Slabbed Condition: This 1951-S Wheat Cent is housed in a slab by the International Numismatic Bureau (INB). The coin displays a circulated brown patina consistent with its copper composition. The strike is a standard business strike issued for general circulation from the San Francisco Mint. While the slab does not provide a numeric grade, the obverse shows visible wear on Lincoln’s portrait and the reverse shows softening of the wheat stalks. Historically, this coin represents the post-WWII era of the Lincoln Wheat Cent series, which featured the iconic wheat ears design by Victor David Brenner on the reverse. It is composed of 95% copper and 5% tin and zinc.
