This Is An Antique Washstand Commode Cabinet. It Dates Back To The Late 19th Century (Circa 1870–1890). It Is Constructed From Solid Pine. The Decorative Wooden Panel Rising From The Back Is A Backsplash, Meant To Protect Walls From Water Splashes. The Two Small Raised Platforms Attached To It Are Candle Shelves, Used To Hold Candles To Light The Basin Area Before Indoor Plumbing And Electricity Were Widespread. 37 INCH HEIGHT 29 1/2 INCH WIDE 15 INCH DEEP
