The rectangular top features a molded edge and adjusts in height via a telescoping mechanism locked by a wooden turn-knob on the column. It is supported by a thick, multi-faceted octagonal pedestal column that rests on a heavy, low-profile T-shaped or Y-shaped platform base with rounded lobe feet.
