Collectible group featuring two original 1939 New York World’s Fair souvenir programs and six boxed Hess miniature vehicles. Programs include Billy Rose’s Aquacade, featuring Eleanor Holm and Johnny Weissmuller, and Railroads on Parade with its illustrated fairgrounds map and production information. Both show toning, edge wear, creases, and wear appropriate for age. The Smithsonian records the Aquacade program as dating to 1939. Boxed Hess miniatures include: * 2003 Miniature Hess Patrol Car * 2007 Miniature Hess Rescue Truck * 2009 Miniature Space Shuttle Transport * 2010 Miniature Fire Truck * 2012 Miniature Truck and Airplane * 2014 Miniature Sport Utility Vehicle Vehicles appear housed in their original display boxes. Boxes show varying storage and handling wear. Operational condition and battery compartments have not been tested. The 2009 shuttle was originally issued as part of Hess’s collectible miniature series, while the 2014 SUV was the final miniature sold through Hess gas stations.
