Primitive cast iron ice tongs used for gripping and carrying blocks of ice before modern refrigeration. Features a hinged scissor-style design with curved gripping points and rounded handles. Measures approximately 10.5 inches wide x 12.5 inches tall. Displays aged surface oxidation, finish loss, and wear appropriate for age. Estimated early to mid-20th century.
