Natural Burmese Ruby and Diamond Ring

Ring Striking statement ring centered by an oval natural ruby surrounded by numerous diamonds in an ornate white-metal openwork mounting. The geometric design features a raised crown-style setting with additional diamonds extending along the shoulders. All rings in this auction are currently sized between 6 and 7. The consignor has generously agreed to resize the purchased ring at no charge to the buyer. Rings requiring resizing will be shipped to the consignor and returned to the buyer through Southern Heirs Auction. Please allow approximately two to four weeks for the resizing and return process. The accompanying GIA Ruby Origin Report No. 1236859683, dated February 10, 2026, identifies the center stone as natural corundum, ruby variety, with Burma (Myanmar) geographic origin. The ruby is described as red, transparent to semi-transparent, oval shaped, with a brilliant-cut crown and step-cut pavilion. Measurements are approximately 8.17 x 6.15 x 2.49 mm. The report notes heat treatment with significant residues. Gross ring weight is approximately 6.94 grams. The GIA report applies to the center ruby. Diamond weights, grades, and the white-metal content are not stated on the report. Ring Size and Resizing: This ring is approximately a size 6 to 7. Empire Jewelry will resize the ring at no charge; however, it must be shipped to Empire Jewelry for the resizing service. Please allow approximately 2 weeks to 30 days for completion and return shipping. The original GIA report and accompanying report card are included.
