Description: Vintage die-cast Kid single-action cap pistol with diamond-pattern grips. The left side is marked "KID" with an S inside a circle. Measures approximately 3.75 inches long. This miniature cap pistol is reported to be in working condition. The hammer cocks properly, and the trigger releases the action as intended. Constructed of die-cast metal with molded diamond-pattern grips, it displays the classic styling of early to mid-20th-century toy cap guns. A handwritten note found with the pistol in the estate accompanies this item. The note identifies it as an old iron single-action cap pistol, references a September 15, 1923 patent date, and states that the mechanism works properly. The note is included with the pistol for provenance only, and buyers should make their own determination regarding the maker, age, and patent information. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear, oxidation, and finish loss. The trigger guard is absent, as shown in the photographs. The action cocks and releases properly. Please review all photographs for the best representation of condition. If you have any doubt, please attend the preview and examine all photographs closely before bidding.
