Original War Department Basic Field Manual FM 21-100 "Soldier’s Handbook" dated July 23, 1941, including Change 1 dated May 4, 1942. This pocket-sized manual was issued to U.S. Army personnel during the early years of World War II and covers military discipline, organization, weapons, equipment, field conduct, drill, and soldier responsibilities. The handbook retains its original soft paper covers and includes the period Government Printing Office printing information. A desirable piece of WWII U.S. military history that displays well and remains a collectible reference manual. Condition: Complete with original covers and interior pages. Age toning, foxing, cover wear, light creasing, and handwritten ownership markings are present. Binding remains intact and the manual appears complete. Wear is appropriate for age.
