Two-piece glazed ceramic covered dish with a sculpted turkey lid and matching oval bowl/base. The turkey features a red head and neck, fan-shaped tail, and multicolor feather decoration. Both pieces have cream-colored glazed interiors. The bowlunderside is inscribed exactly “CJS” and “11-3-79”; the meaning of these inscriptions is unconfirmed. Glossy glaze remains largely present, with minor dark specks, surface variations, and possible firing or glaze irregularities. No definite majorcracks, repairs, or missing components are visible in the supplied photographs. The underside shows wear or discoloration. The hidden contact rim, complete underside, and other unshown areas were not fully assessed.
