Circa 1910s-1930s. Fun bit of info regarding this item, before hotels had irons, a travelling businessman would fold his trousers into this board, clip it shut, slide it under a mattress, over a chair or into a suitcase overnight. The pressure & a little dampness on the seams was supposed to pull wrinkles out and keep a sharp crease.
