This defrost heater kit includes WR51X10055 heater, WR55X10025 temperature sensor, and WR50X10068 high limit thermostat as a complete replacement set for compatible General Electric refrigerators. The heater melts ice and frost around evaporator coils, the sensor sends temperature readings to the control board, and the thermostat cuts power when the defrost temperature limit is reached.
