This 12V 150A clockwise-rotation alternator, Model 1040N, is designed as a high-output direct replacement for Chrysler PT Cruiser 2.4L and Dodge Neon 2.4L vehicles from 2003 to 2005. It features precision CNC-machined castings, bearings tested to OE standards, an internal fan design, and external regulator compatibility. The compact unit installs using existing mounting points, with battery disconnection and proper belt tension adjustment recommended during installation. Dimensions are approximately 9.25" x 8.27" x 6.89", and the alternator weighs 12.83 lb.
